Diesel suffered a severe "Happy Tail" injury. We tried for months to resolve the injury. It was
always 2 steps forward 1 step back. We thought we had won the battle numerous times, only for him to split
the end of his tail again. The final time it split, it became infected. We had little choice but
to dock his tail, ending his show career.
In extremely limited showing, Diesel ended with 5 points, several Reserves, a 5-point
Major Reserve at the Monterey Great Dane Specialty and Best Bred by Exibitor over Winner's Bitch at the California
Great Dane Club Specialty in Los Angeles.
